Kickoff for a National Community Storytelling Campaign
Creating Buzz with Social Media
Use Your Facebook Wall
- Go to your Facebook profile
- Post one of the following messages to your wall:
How do you Take Back The Mic? Post your answer at http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=113013795393797&ref=ts. And then post the question to your friends.
More than an event, this is the kickoff for a National Community Storytelling campaign that will assist, inspire and train low income communities to tell their own stories:

Corporate media presents two stories and they are both lies! Neither are our stories. With social media, we can tell our own stories and amplify our voices. It is our responsibility - Take Back The Mic!

- Repeat steps 1-4 on a regular basis (e.g., every couple of days until the May 20th event)
